All games range from 1 to 6 nickels for game play. In general, nickels are comparable to quarters when calculating game play cost. A typical 1 quarter game would be a nickel and so on. Games that would cost $1.00 to $5.00 at other entertainment facilities cost no more than 6 nickels at Nickelrama. Customers that come to Nickelrama enjoy hours of exciting game play for mere nickels. Nickels are available in change machines or at the cash register. You are also welcome to bring your own!

Our Policy has always been to charge everyone that wishes to be admitted to our facility. This straight forward policy has been helpful in establishing a safe, trouble free, and enjoyable facility. The NickelRama enviroment has been developed as an adult and child playground of sorts. We want to attract adults as well as children to our facility. We try to create an atmosphere were the parents actually have fun with their kids. Admission is required at many entertainment venues. Adults are most often times asked to pay a higher admission at amusement parks or theaters. We think that you will find our system not only affordable but fun!

NickelRama has no specific rule to prohibit a parent from dropping kids off at the arcade. It is the parent or guardians responsibility to make a decision regarding the maturity and abilities of their child. It is also the obligation of a parent or guardian to ensure that their child has the proper funds, transportation, and personal phone information. Remember that NickelRama is not a child care facility. NickelRama does not provide specific supervision for your children and thus does not accept responsibility for their actions or inactions. We do hold the parents or guardians responsible for their own children. NickelRama does try to provide a fun, safe, and entertaining environment for children as well as adults.

The no check policy has been in effect to reduce the processing costs of our operation.. The fact that our company uses real nickels other than tokens or swipe cards also makes it difficult to consider exchanging checks for real nickels. The savings that this provides better enables our company to provide the high quality of equipment and staff that you have grown accustomed to.

You can cash in your tickets at any time. We have no time limit on their redemption. If ticket vouchers become unviewable to the point of any reasonable person being able to tell what the amount is, the voucher value would then be worthless. Keep in mind that this event could happen from a voucher going through a washing cycle or time alone. NickelRama is not responsible for this loss. NickelRama will redeem your tickets so-long as they are valid, readable, and that NickelRama exists as an on going business concern.

It is important to get reservations for your party. NickelRama table space is limited and if you want to get the time and day that you desire you should lock it in. Inexpensive Flat rates for table space are available and pre-payment is required. Reservations can be made on our website or via phone (972-414-7042).

The answer to this question is somewhat variable. Most parties can spend approximately $5.00 per child on nickels. This assumes a typical two hour party stay! The age of your child could also affect this number. A child of 4 or 5 years old may find it difficult to spend such an amount(remember that $5.00 equals 100 nickels) Kids at this age have never had that many “tokens”. Kids that are older or into their teenage years love to spend as many as you will give them! To ensure the maximization of your nickels, give half of your allotment in the beginning of your party, then return to the table, celebrate your party, and then give the other half of your nickels to your guests.

Have our entire facility to yourself with an amazing Private Party! We would be closed to the general public during your time slot. You can bring in your own food and drink(no glass, no alcohol).Check out the Private Party Page on our website. 

NickelRama will generally open early for Schools, Daycares, Youth Groups, or other large events. We usually accomodate early openings from Monday through Friday, before our opening hours. Birthday parties that wish to have us open early on a Saturday or Sunday must give at least 1 week advance notice and a minimum guarantee of 30 people. NickelRama does reserve the right to turn down any such event for any reason. We will not stay after hours for lock-in events. Tickets and vouchers are the responsibility of our customers. If you or your child loses a ticket there is no way (aside from finding it) to compensate that loss. Please have your children be responsible for their own tickets. Tickets and vouchers should be saved in a safe place. NickelRama does not keep any record of how many tickets a customer has. Once the ticket or voucher is cashed it is destroyed.

Tables are available for $119.95 – 16 free guests included! With purchase of $119.95 table, you are eligible to get a second table at a rate of $59.95. 2 tables would amount to 32 guests.

Parties are allotted two hours of time on our tables. It is possible to guarantee more time on a table if you pre-pay $119.95 per each additional hour of use. Keep in mind that there are no refunds if any tables were available, not reserved, or the event is cancelled. This rule generally applies for Saturdays and Sundays. Another option is to take a chance that the other tables will not be reserved. If they are not reserved for the next time frame the customer is welcome to use it. If a party really wants additional time without having to guarantee anything, Monday through Friday is more flexible. In General Customers can stay as long as they like “without” table space. The tables are limited to 2 hours during our busy periods. Giving up your table after two hours does not mean that you have to leave! 7 day advance reservation and pre-pay guarantee required for additional time.
